Persistence. Patience. Perseverance.

Updated: Apr 14, 2022

The problem is that we quit. It gets too hard, so we quit.

We say 'it wasn't meant to be' or 'I don't have enough time' then we quit and slip back into our comfortable safety net.

Note: Our brains job is to keep us alive - safe and familiar is the best chance for survival Therefore whenever we attempt to step out of our comfort zone and it starts to feel hard, our brain us to quit and step back into safety, that is why it is so hard to change a habit.

Just imagine this for a moment...when you were a child and you were learning to walk. You didn't go from wriggling on your belly to strolling confidently around, did you?

Chances are you fell, then fell again and fell again. Each time you got back up until you had it perfected and now look at you, walking like a pro!

What if your parent/s had said 'actually, I don't think walking is the right thing for you because you keep falling over. Don't worry, just crawl on your belly for ever'. No of course not.

Be persistent in chasing your goals, they won't appear in one day.

Have patience, it won't happen in one day..

Persevere, keep at it and every small daily effort will lead you closer.
